In order to reach out to the youth of India, BJP’s youth wing, Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha has planned to start ‘Modi Café’ in approximately 2500 college campuses across India. For this purpose, 10220 “campus ambassadors” have been selected who have been assigned the task of starting these ‘Modi Café’ in their respective college campuses to spread awareness about BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi among young students.
Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha said it has connected with private institutions and colleges where minimal political exercises happen.
"The college ambassadors are drawn from 2,730 academic institutions among 537 districts across the country," Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha said in a statement.
"These campus ambassadors will start 'Modi Cafe' by February 10 in their own campuses where discussions will be conducted about Modi's agenda and policies," it stated.
BJYM president Anurag Thakur stated that the programme is getting a great reaction from even those states where BJP is not solid and attested that the party will see positive effects from these states too.
"2,130 such envoys have been picked in Uttar Pradesh schools, emulated by 1001 - Gujarat, 976 - Haryana, 766 - Maharashtra, 234 - West Bengal and 350 in Andhra Pradesh," he said.
