Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung is supposed to give his report to the Centre on 15th as the follow up to the resignation of the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi.
Sources said he might give his report on the circumstances to the President through the Union Home Ministry for last choice on if to carry the national capital under central rule or dissolve the House for holding elections alongside Lok Sabha elections as suggested by the outgoing cabinet.
The Lt Governor will send a "factual report" along with resignation of the AAP Government and the Cabinet's suggestion, the sources said.
Kejriwal on Friday resigned as Delhi CM not long after his administration was crushed on the issue of tabling of the Janlokpal Bill in Delhi Assembly due to resistance offered by ‘outside supporter Congress’ & opposition BJP.
Earlier, L G Najeeb Jung had objected to the tabling of Jan lokpal bill without his knowledge and consent.
Kejriwal had yesterday proposed to the Lt Governor to dissolve the assambly and hold new elections.
