Motorola's much expected Android smartphone Moto G has been launched in India at a very affordable price of Rs 12,499 for the 8GB variant and Rs 13,999 for the 16GB space variant.
The Moto G brags a 4.5-inch edge to edge screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution display with 329 ppi and a water-repellent nano-covering.
The mobile phone will be powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and will run on Android 4.3 which is upgradable to Android 4.4 Kitkat within a few days.
This is combined with 1GB of RAM. Additionally equipped with the 5MP rear camera with LED flash, which is able of 720p HD movie recording at 30fps and a 1.3MP front-camera for video calling. Weighing 143 grams, it packs in a 2070 mAh battery which helps to talk up 24 hours and offers connectivity choices incorporating 3g, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Looking past the accepted dispersion model, Motorola plans to sell Moto G just through the online shopping portals, Flipkart. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart beginning February 6. Flipkart also plans to offer a few rebates on the same.
